Meet the Smily-faced Fish o' Smilyness ☺︎

This is the so-called golden wonder killie (Aplocheilos lineatus), also known as the striped or golden panchax. Residing all over the place in India and Sri Lanka, we are very lucky that the golden wonder isn’t endangered at all.

Why?

IT’S SMILING! :)

One of the interesting things about golden wonders is that they can live in both fresh and brackish conditions. It makes for a very hardy fish if it’s able to do that. It likes to eat bugs and stuff.

Lastly, here’s a picture of it in the wild:

I’m honestly shocked by the cuteness of this animal.

BYE!!
